Nola Wilken, CPA, President
Since founding Wilken & Company, P.C., CPAs in 1987, Nola has attracted a diverse group of clients who rely on her over 35 years’ experience and her expertise in providing estate and tax planning, consulting, and financial reporting. She has focused the firm’s practice on providing services to clients with complex accounting and tax needs. She takes a personalized approach to each client and develops solutions based on careful listening.
Nola is licensed to practice in Oregon and Washington. She has published a number of tax-related articles and is a faculty member of the Oregon State and Washington State Bars. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Oregon Society of CPAs, and the Washington Society of CPAs.
Prior to founding Wilken & Company, Nola worked as a staff accountant at a local Portland CPA firm. She received her Bachelor of Science/Business Administration/Accounting degree from Portland State University.
Nola is a cycling enthusiast and is well-known for her passion for restoring vintage bicycles and her related blog: restoringvintagebicycles.com
She is also an executive producer in the film and video industry.
Jesse Davis, CPA, Senior Accountant
Jesse joined the firm in December 2020 with over 35 years of tax and accounting experience in a variety of industries.
He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Oregon State University and began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1983 in their tax / small business division. Jesse then worked for various large and medium sized companies while maintaining a part-time tax and accounting practice. He has extensive experience in complex business accounting and tax issues. He is a member of the Oregon Society of CPA’s.
Jesse is an avid board gamer. He enjoys exercise and can be found year-round on his bicycle pedaling the streets of Portland.
Brie Lang, Office Manager
Brie joined Wilken & Company in 2012 after five years as office manager for a local law firm. She brings her dedicated technical and creative skills along with her responsive approach to solving problems.
A Portland native, Brie received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Lewis & Clark College and studied Japanese in Ōsaka, Japan. In her spare time, she enjoys board games, concerts, and culinary excursions.
